UTEP Men’s Golf Completes Day One at William H. Tucker

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. –
The UTEP men's golf team (302-301—603) shot 27-over par after two rounds in the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate at UNM Championship Course (par 72/7,555 yards) on Friday.
 
The Miners will begin the final day ranked tied for 15th, as Saturday's third-round action will begin with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
 
Nattapol Udomrat (76-73—149) and Oskar Ambrosius (72-77—149) each shot a 5-over par, finishing tied for 52nd after two rounds of play.
 
Marcus Khaw (76-76—152) finished tied for 70th, Ben Getman (79-75—154) is tied for 79th and Aaron Terrazas (78-77—155) is ranked tied for 83rd.
 
UTEP registered 112 pars, ranking tied for second on Friday. The Miners also combined for 19 birdies on the day. On Par 3 scoring, Udomrat and Getman were even, while Khaw and Ambrosius scored a 1-under on Par 5 scoring. Khaw and Getman each recorded five birdies, while Udomrat collected four birdies.
 
Overall, UNLV (-14) leads the team leaderboard, while BYU (-11) is second. On the player leaderboard, UNLV's Harry Hall (67-68—135) fired a 9-under to ranks first, while BYU's Peter Kuest (68-69-137) is second after shooting a 7-under par.
