EL PASO, Texas – The UTEP men's golf team added Nattapol Udomrat to its roster, head coach Scott Lieberwirth announced Tuesday.
Udomrat will join the Miners out of his hometown of Pathumthani, Thailand and will be the first person in his family playing collegiate sports. He finished in second place at the TrueVisions Singha Junior Golf Championship 2017 at the Pine Golf and Lodge in Bangkok last October, firing a tournament total of 229 (77-76-76).
His stats include a 62.4 percent fairway hit, 65 percent green regulations and a putting average of 31.4. His favorite shot to hit is an approach shot between 100-140 yards and a 250 yard driving shot.
