UTEP Softball Boasts Six NFCA All-American Scholar-Athletes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – UTEP softball's Pamala Baber, Courtney Clayton, Kacey Duffield, Mariah Ellis, Allie Johnson and Julia Wright excellence in the classroom garnered them National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2017-2018 academic year on Wednesday.
 
This is the fourth NFCA honor for Miner-Alum Clayton. Baber, Ellis and Johnson are all recipients of their second NFCA recognition, while Duffield and Wright are first-time honorees.
 
The NFCA honored 6,280 softball players this past academic year, with 1,311 of those being Division I athletes.
